20th Annual Golf Classic Benefit

The Golf Classic will begin with a lovely buffet luncheon followed by a shotgun start of 18 holes of golf with snacks and beverages supplied at the 5th and 13th holes.  The always exciting, and challenging, putting contest will be a featured activity once again. Following the days golf is a reception including an open bar, cocktail food stations, and dinner featuring roast beef, meatballs, wings, and ribs.  During the dinner service breaks, the awards ceremony and door prizes presentation will be held. Tickets for the full day of golf, food and activities are $200, with $35 tickets available for anyone who may wish to just attend the reception and awards ceremony.   Participation in additional special 20th anniversary activities, taking place throughout the day, is optional.

The Bucks County Intermediate Unit’s Education Foundation is holding an Indoor Craft Fair on Saturday October 28, 2017 featuring over 30 crafters. Crafters will be showcasing a variety of holiday décor items and wreaths, handbags/purses, natural soaps/lotions and pet care items, blacksmithing, LuLaRoe clothing, notecards, essential oils, natural wood items, wall art, jewelry, scarves, blankets, needlepoint/ cross stitch crafts, and more.   Free admission and plenty of free parking - join us indoors at the Bucks County Intermediate Unit located at 705 N. Shady Retreat Rd. in Doylestown PA from 9:00am through 4:00pm. Come start your holiday shopping early, browse the crafts, grab something to eat, and enjoy!

Designer Bag Bingo to Support Women's Humane Society

Take your chance at winning amazing prizes while helping the animals of the Women’s Humane Society!
 
Join us on Saturday, November 4th at St. Cyril’s Parish Hall in Jamison, PA for an evening of fun and competition – all in support of a truly meaningful cause. Our Designer Bag Bingo fundraiser will directly benefit the care and rehoming of our shelter animals!
 
Handbags will include all of the most popular brands, including Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Coach, and more. Tickets can be purchased for $35/person and include ten games of bingo; complimentary soda and hot beverages; and entry into our door prize raffle. Doors open at 6pm, and bingo starts at 7pm.
 
Pizza by the slice and snacks will be available for purchase! Large plain pizzas can be requested for a group for $15 each pie. If your group would like to order, please select the option when ordering your tickets through the form below. Snacks and food may also be brought from home.
 
Additional bingo pads, daubers and special game cards will be available for purchase. The event will also include a 50/50 drawing and raffle baskets!
 
 
Are you a local business? The Women’s Humane Society needs your help! Please consider Sponsoring a game for just $250, or donating an item towards our raffle. All donations are tax-deductible, and partnering businesses will be recognized on our website, in our program book, and at the event! Local business owners, human resources professionals, and managers are invited to a free Lunch & Learn event hosted by HealthLink Dental Clinic on Monday, November 13th.

The lunch event will be held in the conference room at HealthLink Dental Clinic at 1775 Street Road, Southampton, PA from 12noon to 1:30pm.

 

Seating is limited.  RSVP is required by November 8th.

 

164 million sick days are taken for dental-related problems each year.  HealthLink can be a great resource for part-time or seasonal employees without access to dental insurance.

HealthLink Dental Clinic is hosting the event to inform the business community about the free dental care available to low-income adults and veterans living in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
