Rider was named one of the best colleges in the nation by Colleges of
Distinction. Rider was also one of 11 institutions of higher education
recognized in New Jersey.
Colleges of Distinction recognized Rider for its business, education,
career development, equity and inclusion, and military support
programs.
"These rankings are a testament to Rider's approach to engaged learning, dedication to equity and inclusion, and support for service members,"
says Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs DonnaJean Fredeen.
"Our students are able to explore their passions through a number of
enriching experiences that directly contribute to their career success
and personal growth."
Colleges of Distinction, which is celebrating its 20th year,
consistently ranks student-centered schools, whose primary goals are
based on student success and satisfaction. Colleges of Distinction
evaluates schools based on student engagement, teaching, community and
outcomes.
“We complete a thorough review of the programs before granting the
