2020 is rapidly coming to a close and 2021 will be knocking on our door before you know it.  In the December newsletter, we provide you the 2021 Federal Holidays and dates, minimum wages for the Pennsylvania and contiguous states, Social Security wage base and Pennsylvania UC rates for 2021.

2021 Federal Holiday Calendar:

New Year’s Day-Friday January 1st.

Martin Luther King Day-Monday January 18th

Presidents Day-Monday February 15th

Memorial Day-Monday May 31st

Independence Day-Sunday July 4th (observed Monday July 5th)

Labor Day-Monday September 6th

Columbus Day-Monday October 11th

Veterans Day-Thursday November 11th

Thanksgiving-Thursday November 25th

Christmas Day-Saturday December 25th (observed Friday December 24th)

Minimum Wages for 2021:

Pennsylvania $7.25. New Jersey $12.00, Delaware $9.25, Maryland $11.75, New York State $12.50/New York City $15.00

Social Security wage base in 2021 increases from $137,700 to $142,800.

Pennsylvania UC rates for 2021:

Minimum contribution rate-.012905   Maximum contribution rate-.099333
