Members of the Valley Forge Mustang Club partnered with the Southampton-based Sunshine Foundation to deliver gifts and food to a local special needs child and his family on Saturday, Dec. 19.

The club delivered toys, a new winter jack, food and plenty of Christmas spirit to Grayson Arbutina, an 8-year-old from Folsom who is diagnosed with low-functioning autism. He loves Mickey Mouse, Little Einsteins, balloons, music and Chick-Fil-A nuggets.

“We feel so lucky to have received such amazing gifts and food, that is one less stress for me this year,” said Grayson’s mom Kara. “I am so glad to have found the Sunshine Foundation. The work you do for special needs families is fantastic.”

Sunshine Foundation, established in 1976, answers the dreams of children, ages 3-18, who have severe or profound physical/developmental/intellectual challenges or trauma form physical/sexual abuse, and who families cannot fulfill their requests due to financial strain that the child’s illness may cause.  Visit sunshinefoundation.org for more information.
