Volunteer Opportunities for you and your business
Bristol, PA
07/06/2022 12:56 PM

Community action is only possible with the help of our volunteers. Bucks County Opportunity Council provides multiple programs that grow, deliver, and distribute food to people in Bucks County, and we are looking for help. Check out the ways you can volunteer below.  These opportunities are available Monday through Friday.

HELP Center

Help pack and deliver food to home bound seniors and families in Lower Bucks.  Help stock and organize food throughout the HELP Center pantry.  Help shop and fulfill online pantry orders.

Bucks County food pantries rely on locally grown produce to supplement the non-perishable goods they distribute. All summer long, BCOC is looking for volunteers to assist at local farms working on tasks like harvesting, weeding, planting, and more. These opportunities are offered during the week at locations in New Hope and Doylestown, starting at approximately 8:30 AM, weather-permitting.

Volunteers make Fresh Connect go 'round!

Your help is needed to package and distribute food to low-income families. This free farmer's market operates year-round! Help distribute every Friday on the Epstein Campus of Bucks County Community College.

Each weekly location requires a team of volunteers, who will help distribute boxes of pre-packaged produce. These events take place outside. Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, and remain for the entire shift. Masks are required, and temperatures are taken prior to start.
