Women’s Animal Center – 3839 Richlieu Road, Bensalem - will be hosting three Mini Paws Club programs this summer for children ages 7-12. During each Mini Paws Club session, children will participate in a lesson on the day’s topic, games, hands-on crafts, a tour of the Center, enrichment activities for the animals, and meet and greets with Women’s Animal Center Ambassador animals!
Mini Paws Club Summer Program dates and topics:
• Thursday, June 20th: Vet for a Day - Learn
about the various things our veterinarians and vet technicians do to keep
animal patients healthy
• Thursday, July 25th: Art with Animals – Draw animals from real life by visiting and sketching our adoptable shelter pets, set up simple art projects for our animals to do, and learn about how making art can be enriching for animals
• Thursday, August 15th: Understanding Animals -
Learn about animal behavior and body language, when and how to approach an
animal, and more!
