SCORE to Offer 3 Free Biz-Related Webinars in November

In a continued effort to keep the local business community informed, SCORE Bucks County will offer three free webinars in November.

The first, “Cash Flow Management Basics,” will be held on Nov. 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Led by SCORE Bucks County certified mentor Alberto Casadei, this webinar focuses on understanding business cash flow.

Casadei, who has an extensive background in business model development, startup strategy and business planning, will discuss:

=         What is cash flow and its impact on business

=         The main reasons for cash flow problems

=         Management actions to improve cash flow

=         A simple model to forecast cash flow

On Nov. 16, SCORE Bucks County certified mentor Richard Kroger will offer the “How to Obtain Bank Financing” webinar from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Kroger, who has 30 years of experience in the banking, commercial lending, business banking and SBA lending fields, will highlight:

=         The type of information bank credit officers seek

=         The different sources of funds for a capital contribution

=         The usual components of a business plan

=         Traditional banking and alternative sources of business funding

On Nov. 23, Jessica Baldwin, co-founder of easy-to-use website platform Cardsetter, will offer “Website Planning 101: Take Your First Step to Website Success” from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Baldwin, who has been helping small businesses create websites for more than seven years, will cover the following topics:

=         Defining your audience

=         Setting your website’s goals

=         Determining key functionality and features

=         Planning Website content

=         Getting your accounts and logins organized
