NOVA’s Upstander Day Slated for Sept. 17 at Dublin Fire Co. - Event celebrates those who promote kindness and inclusion
NOVA’s Upstander Day will take place on Sunday, September 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Dublin Fire Company, 194 N. Main Street, Dublin, PA 18917. This community event is free,
will include family-friendly games, crafts, entertainment, food trucks and demonstrations by first
responders.
Upstander Day will promote and celebrate our community’s Upstanders - individuals of all ages who, when they see bullying behavior, take steps to safely offer help. Being an Upstander is about kindness and inclusion.
"Upstander Day is the perfect way to celebrate NOVA’s mission to build a kinder, safer Bucks County for all of us,” said Michelle Cash, Director of Development, NOVA. “An Upstander is someone who supports others, stands up for victims and promotes empathy and kindness. By putting together this fun,
family-friendly day out, we are going to have a great time while celebrating
the Upstander in all of us!"
Area businesses and community organizations will also be participating in Upstander Day festivities. To learn more about Upstander Day sponsorship opportunities, contact Ashley Doyle, Special Events Organizer, at Ashley.Doyle@novabucks.org or 215-343-6543, ext. 6609.
