Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA) recently held its annual volunteer dinner at Giuseppe’s Pizza & Family Restaurant in Warminster. The theme was “Grazie”, the Italian word for “Thank you”, and volunteers were treated to a “Taste of Italy” dinner.
NOVA utilizes over 200 volunteers who serve as hotline volunteers, thrift shop volunteers, special event volunteers and administrative volunteers “Our volunteers play a huge role here at NOVA,” said Julie Dugery, Coordinator of Volunteers and Community Outreach. “They provide countless hours of service and their dedication helps us in our mission to support victims of sexual assault and other serious crimes and to prevent and eliminate violence. We want to take this opportunity to thank them for all that they do for NOVA and their community.”
