NOVA Announces Winners of Internet Safety Poster Contest

Internet safety is especially important now that both children and adults are spending more time online as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak. Also, increased Internet use escalates the risk that predators will reach out to children. The poster contest was an opportunity to remind everyone about Internet safety rules, encourage safe decision making and to give students an opportunity to share their creativity for the betterment of others.

 

NOVA asked students throughout Bucks County to submit posters that incorporated Internet safety rules into their design including concepts such as:

NOVA received many excellent submissions from talented and creative students from all over Bucks County. It was challenging to pick a winner in each category,” said Pattie Cavalle, NOVA's Education/Awareness Prevention Coordinator. “We thank everyone who participated and congratulate the winners.”
