Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA) is pleased to announce that long time employee, Mandy Mundy, has been promoted to Associate Director. Mundy was previously the Senior
Director of Programs and Services, and she replaces Kathy Bennett who
departed from NOVA in 2017 to become the Director of the Bucks County Area
Agency on Aging.
Mundy brings her 20 plus years of experience at NOVA to the role. She began her career at NOVA as a school specialist in the 1990s. Mundy’s work over the years has evolved to include oversight of education and training for the organization, grant writing, fundraising, special event planning, project management and
team leadership. She was also responsible for the direction and
coordination of programs and services, including Bucks Coalition Against
Trafficking (BCAT) and Keystone Crisis Intervention Team (KCIT). Mundy was also a recipient of the Governor’s Victim Service Pathfinders Award for Prevention Education and Outreach for Pennsylvania.
“Mandy is a motivator and brings energy and enthusiasm to the everyday work
environment,” said Penny Ettinger, Executive Director of NOVA. “Her history with NOVA, coupled with her ability to think strategically and her aptitude for creating
partnerships with other organizations to improve the quality of life for victims and their families, is
exceptional. We are very pleased that she
is now our Associate Director.”
Mundy received her Bachelor’s Degree from Bloomsburg University and her Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Leadership from LaSalle University. She and her husband Jim are Bucks County natives and live with their two children in Doylestown, PA. Mundy serves on the Board of Trustees for Solebury School in New Hope, PA.
