NETWORK OF VICTIM ASSISTANCE (NOVA) ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBERS

Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA) is pleased to announce that the following business and community leaders have joined the NOVA Board of Directors. 

Carin A. O’Donnell, Esq.--Shareholder and member, Stark & Stark’s Accident & Personal Injury and Construction Injury Groups. O’Donnell’s area of expertise is catastrophic injury. She is also an instructor in Civil Practice and Procedure at Manor College in Jenkintown and organizes mock trials for students.

 

Charles T. Field--Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Penn Community Bank (PCB). As Chief Financial Officer, Field safeguards the financial management of Penn Community Bank in support of its mission. In addition to his work with NOVA, Field serves on the board of directors and is Treasurer of the Bucks County Health Improvement Partnership (BCHIP).

 

Ann Paris, RN, JD, FASHRM, CHEM, CPHRM, LSSBB--Healthcare Consultant. Paris works with clients to manage legal and claim issues and leads risk management and patient safety initiatives in diverse organizations. She has been published in various journals and has written handbooks on subjects ranging from surgical quality and negligence to law and ethics for nurses.

 

TR Kannan--Head of Source to Pay Operations, The Chemours Company. Kannan is in charge of procurement and payables at Chemours, leading a global team of more than 130 persons. In addition to his work with NOVA, Kannan serves on the Board of the Pennsbury School District, where he chaired the Finance Committee and was elected board president in 2019 and 2020. 

Christina Fogle – Specialized Support, Bucks Online, Bucks County Community College. Fogle works with BCCC students, faculty and staff to provide telecommunications and computer support. She also works with students to keep them apprised of Bucks Online services, campus resources, and academic and financial responsibilities. Fogle is an author and volunteers her time in her community.

We are honored to have this excellent group of professionals give their time to serve on our board of directors,” said Dorothy Gaboda, President, NOVA Board of Directors. “Their respective expertise and commitment will help us to further advance the organization’s mission.” These individuals will join 14 other local leaders who make up the board -- each bringing unique expertise to ensure that NOVA continues to carry out the mission while remaining fiscally sound. NOVA’s mission is to prevent and eliminate violence and assist victims of crime in the healing and rebuilding of their lives.
