in the healthcare field,” said Jim Woodward, president and CEO of THMA. “I am

the benefits of their forward-thinking vision and deep commitment to
patient-centered care.”
Dr. Magro, a trained
Hospitalist whose clinical background is in Internal Medicine, has served in
healthcare operational leadership roles for 12 years, including the last four
years as president of Nazareth. At St. Mary, they look forward to cultivating a
patient-centered approach with a focus on community engagement.
“I believe that those we are
honored to serve–our patients–should be at the center of every decision,” said
Dr. Magro. “We will remain steadfast in our commitment to achieving the best
patient care experience and challenging ourselves to do better for our patients
and our community. That starts with a renewed investment as active partners in
the communities we serve.”
Dr. O’Dell has served as chief
medical officer at Nazareth Hospital since July 2018. He received a Bachelor of
Science degree in Biology/Psychology from Montclair State University in Montclair,
N.J. He received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic
in Davenport, Iowa, before earning a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from
