The Board of Trustees of the Social Security Trust Fund
projected the short and long term estimates of the increase in Social Security
wage base. The Board projects that the
2024 wage base will increase by $7200 to $167,700 in 2024 from the 2023 wage
base of $160,200. The long term
projection of The Board is that the Social Security wage base will increase to
$230,100 by 2032.
