Bucks County, Pennsylvania – April 30, 2024 – The African American Museum of Bucks County (AAMBC) is thrilled to announce its upcoming Juneteenth Community Festival. This FREE family friendly is event taking place at Mayor’s Park in Langhorne and is scheduled for Saturday, June 22 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It will be an exciting day filled with educational speakers, live music, kid friendly activities and games, food trucks and more!
The AAMBC is actively seeking vendors from the greater Bucks County, Philadelphia and other neighboring communities for the upcoming event. Vendors’ specialties can range anywhere from local businesses, arts organizations, non-profits, educational institutions, or groups, etc. The Museum is also seeking volunteers to help with set-up and participation during the event.
“We could not be more excited to throw a Juneteenth celebration for our community. As the first
African American Museum in Bucks County, we are well positioned to host this free community festival, that commemorates an extremely important event in American History,” said Linda Salley, President, and Executive Director of the African American Museum of Bucks County.
General guidelines for those interested in becoming a vendor for this event are as follows:
• All vendors must arrive at 9:00 AM to set up.
• Vendors need to be set up and ready for participants at 10:00 am and expected to stay until 4:00 pm
• A 10’x10’ space will be provided for each vendor.
• Pop-up tents are allowed.
• All vendors must always have a representative on site.
• Vendor fee is due in full two weeks prior to event date: June 8th.

The AAMBC Boone Farm Capital Campaign whose current fundraising goal is $2 million, is diligently working to transform Boone Farm, a historic 1717 stone building in Langhorne, into an operating museum where they can continue to share untold stories and hidden figures of Bucks County.
