The minimum wage varies among the contiguous states around
Pennsylvania. This newsletter will
highlight the states bordering Pennsylvania and the differences in state
minimum wage.
Pennsylvania: $7.25
per hour.
New Jersey: $15.00 per hour/$11.90 per hour for seasonal
employees and small employers with fewer than 6 employees/$11.05 per hour for
agricultural employees/$5.13 per hour cash wage for tipped employees and $16.00
per hour for long term care facility direct care staff members.
Delaware: $10.50 per hour.
Maryland: $12.50 per hour.
New York State: $13.20 per hour.
New York City: $15.00 per hour.
