The summer is slowly fading away and we turn our sights on
the Fall and year end.
The Board of Trustees of the Social Security Trust Fund has
reported on the financial condition of the Social Security program. The Board projects the wage base will be
$155.100 in 2023 up from $147,000 this year and will increase to $218,400 by
2031.
National Payroll Week is from September 5th thru
September 9th, 2022. Seventy
percent of the United States Treasury revenue comes thru payroll withholding.
The Payroll Factory hits the road for two CPE seminars this
month. Monday September 19th
at the Radisson Hotel at the Bucks-Mont chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of
Tax and Accounting Professionals. On
Thursday September 22nd, we will be a vendor at the Lehigh Valley
chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Tax and Accounting Professionals at the
Homewood Suites/Hilton in Center Valley.
